Dateline: Alice, Texas Terence LaRue Mann Hunt "A Time To Be Born" On July 27, 1960, in Alice, Texas, a 7 lb. 12 oz. 21 inches long son was born to parents Lonnie Ruth Mann and PFC Donald Hunt. "A Time To Plant" At an early age, Terence accepted Christ and was baptized at True Light Baptist Church in Alice, Texas where he served as a youth usher. Terence (Terry) attended school in Alice, Texas participating in his favorite sport of basketball and was an outstanding player. He also played trombone in the awesome, outstanding Jazz band. "A Time To Work and Play" After graduation, Terry worked for a short time for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. He then found an interest in being a Truck Driver and worked for various companies. In his spare time, Terry loved to detail vehicles and was very meticulous in doing so. He loved fishing, video games, and golf. He was very kindhearted, compassionate, and willing to help others at any time regardless of their status in life. "A Time To Die" Early on Saturday morning March 29, 2025, Terry answered the Lord's roll call and became free from the suffering and pain that he had endured since his Chronic Heart Failure diagnosis in 2023. He has now joined his father, Donald Hunt and his two paternal mentos John "Al" Carrington and Reverend Joe Nathan Ferrell Jr., his 2 brothers John Carrington Jr. and Shawn P. Carrington, and nephew, D'Angelo Carrington-Lewis who all preceded him in death. "A Time To Weep" Terry loved his family and was proud to be the oldest grandson of our present six generation family. His memories will be lovingly cherished by his Mother, Lonnie Ruth Ferrell and Grandmother, Eddie Alvarado Phenix, both of Alice, Texas; Sons: Donald Allen Fudge, Alice, Texas and Richard Ramos, Killeen, Texas; Sisters: Chandra Carrington-Lewis, Alice, Texas, Eva Carrington Brown (Richard), Round Rock, Texas, Sara Carrington, Pflugerville, Texas, Myra and Hazel Carrington, Corpus Christi, Texas; Brothers: Cedric Carrington (Brandy-his special God-sent sister), Hutto, Texas, Dwayne and Russell Carrington, Willie Ray Houston, Kingsville, Texas and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 11AM to 12PM with a funeral service to start at 12PM at the West Main Baptist Church in Alice, Texas with a burial to follow in the New Collins Cemetery.
