Packard age 76 To those who knew him, knew him as “Bobby Boy”, he went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 in A Corpus Christi hospital following an extended illness. His wife of over 40 years was by his side along with family members. Bob considered Beatrices’ daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren as his own. Bob Proudly Served his Country in the US Air Force. He loved them all and helped whenever he could. He took pride and joy in raising Ramiro and Joseph. Bob was a cheerful person and was very happy to have received his Ministers certificate from Victory New Testament. He was close the Lord. He will be greatly missed. Survivors: wife: Beatrice Packard of Ben Bolt, Tx. 2 sisters: Mae Goodrich of North Carolina Gloria Fischer of Greenfield, Mass. 7 daughters: Rachel (Joe) Herrera, Lillian Asevedo, Alma (Edward) Garcia, Norma (Albert) Herrera, Olga Cavazos, Dalia Cavazos, Esmeralda (Arturo Reyna) Flores Grandchildren: Jose Herrera Jr., Sandra (Jorge) Vasquez, Gabriel, Javier (Vanessa) Asevedo, Edward (Laura) Garcia, Prissy (Oscar) Lozano, Roy Garcia, Tina Garcia, Veronica Ortiz, Luis, Alberto Jr, Michael (Veronica) Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Ramiro Cavazos, Joseph Ortegon, Andrea (Matt)Widnick-Vasquez, Lionel Flores and Andrew Flores. Visitation will begin on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 from 4 to 9PM with a Prayer Services that same evening at 7PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Tx. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 at 10Am at the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel Burial will follow in the Roberson Collins Memorial Cemetery.
