Dateline: Three Rivers, Texas In Loving Memory of Elias "Lee" Luis Saenz Elias Saenz age 35 Passed away into the waiting arms of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 4, 2026 in a San Antonio, Texas hospital following a short illness. In Loving Memory of Elias "Lee" Luis Saenz Elias "Lee" Luis Saenz was born on November 1, 1990, in Beeville, Texas, to Juan Saenz and Adelita Ponce. Although Lee was blessed with many who loved him, he was especially cherished and raised as a son by Mary Rodriguez Posey. Lee was the love of Mary's life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to caring for him and ensuring he was surrounded by love every day. Lee spent most of his life in Karon, Texas, where he attended church faithfully, loved praising God, and brought joy to everyone who knew him. His infectious smile, playful mischievousness, and unwavering love for the Lord made him a true blessing. He had a remarkable ability to brighten any room with his presence and was truly the heart of his home. Lee found great happiness in the simple things that meant the most to him. He loved playing with his cards, spending time with his nieces and nephews, celebrating birthdays and holidays with family, and enjoying all of his favorite foods. Every gathering was made more special because Lee was there, sharing his smile and his love. Lee leaves behind a family who will forever treasure his memory. He is survived by his beloved mother, Mary Rodriguez Posey, who will miss him every day; his father, Juan Saenz; his mother, Adelita Ponce; his stepmother, Debbie; his siblings, Samantha, DJ, Mary Anne, Adriana, Sarena, Elena, and his only brother, John Matthew; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed to know and love him. He is welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, grandparents, great-grandparents and countless of loved ones. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that Lee's faith has become sight and that he is now resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord he loved so deeply. His gentle spirit, joyful heart, and unconditional love will remain with us always. Lee's life was a precious gift, and his memory will continue to inspire and bless all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Mont Olivio Church in Karon. Celebration of Life will be Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11 AM at Mont Olivio Church in Karon with the burial to follow at the Lebanon Cemetery.
