Dateline: Corpus Christi, Texas Mary Lois Schulz, age 98, formerly of Three Rivers, passed away on Saturday July 15, 2017 following an extended illness. She was born to Maurice and Hattie Florence (Wheeler) Shannon on August 25, 1918 in Tilden, Texas. She was a rancher – housewife and was blessed with 2 families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Shannon Harris Geddie, her first husband J.C. Harris and second husband Harry J. Schulz. As a lifelong resident of McMullen and Live Oak Counties, she touched the lives of many. Survivors include: (Harris) - Daughter – Judy (William) Pressley of Corpus Christi, Texas. (Schulz) – children: Mary Virginia Johnson of Austin; Harriet Ann Robinson of Round Rock; Harry J. Schulz Jr. (Alicemary) of Three Rivers; Betty Schadle (Joe Bruner) of Randleman, North Carolina and Peggy (Leo) Saenz of Leander. She was blessed with 3 (Harris)and 12 (Schulz) grandchildren and there are 5 (Harris) and 20 (Schulz) great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many other family members and friends. There are no public services scheduled. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
