December 17, 1952 - January 23, 2021

Dateline: Corpus Christi, Texas Marilyn “Kay” Horner age 68 Passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in a Corpus Christi hospital. Kay as she was known to family and friends was born on Dec. 17, 1952 to Bobby and Daisy Horner in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from East Central High School, and shortly after moved to Corpus Christi, Tx. Kay was one of the first women to work in the Refineries in South Texas. After working in the refineries, she loved traveling and fishing and going to the beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Garner Horner and mother, Daisy Tinney Horner and her brother, Michael Horner. It was said of Kay that her life was defined by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by: her son: George (Michele) White of Robstown, Texas her daughter: Kelli White of Corpus Christi, Tx. grandchildren: Zach & wife Sam White, Caitlin White, Kayla White, Britany & husband Wayne Greer, Clayton & wife Kate Henicke, Blade & wife Demmi Bronstad, Kendall & husband Austin Dean. Great Grandchildren: Morgan, Hendrix, Kaiden, Harper, Cash, Keegan, Braelynn, Cooper, Ryatt, Braxton, Callie, with two more on the way. 5 brothers: Steven (Patricia) Ross of Baldwin, MO., Patrick (Diane) Horner of Santa Anna, Tx., Robert (Pamela) Horner of Blanco, Tx., James (Robin) Horner of San Antonio, Tx., John (Joyce) Horner of San Antonio, Tx. 2 sisters: Kathy Horner Malin of San Antonio, Tx., Mary (Steven) Row of Coleman, Tx. Kay is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Memorial Graveside Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 at the Tinney Peidras Pintas Cemetery in Benavides, Tx. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home of Alice, Texas.
