Margaret Lanier
March 13, 1942 - October 8, 2017
Margaret Elizabeth Parchman Lanier age 75 Born March 13, 1942, and went to be home with her Lord and Savior, Oct. 8, 2017. Preceded in death by beautiful twin daughters Shelly Sue and Kelly Kay on May 12, 1968 on their arrival, I know for sure they have brightened the Heavens and are waiting for me and the father Rodney, my mother Irene Olive Wayland Rosco Parchman and my father Donell "Donald" Leo Parchman: Sister Dorothy Lee Parchman Freeman, brothers Donald Mitchell Parchman and Jerry France Parchman, James Parchman; as well as many other loved ones and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Loeb Church in Lumberton. Their she loved working with the youth, teaching Sunday School, being a counselor at summer youth camps and as a counselor for GA's. God blessed me with 4 wonderful children and 4 wonderful grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. My oldest daughter Rhonda Lynn who never gave me anything whatsoever to worry about. She has always stood up for what she believes in and has been a witness for The Lord all her life. I have no idea how I would have survived all these years without her, she's always been there through thick and thin and I hope she knows how much I appreciate her and the fact that she gave me two grandchildren didn't hurt either (ha ha). Raised her family in the House of the Lord. Bradley Dale the sweet strong kid who stole my heart the first time I saw him and watched him grow up into a fine Christian young man and Nicole Lynn the beautiful baby and funny, dramatic little girl and athletic young woman and stands up for what she believes in. She devotes a good deal of her time to the church and working with the young people, especially during the summer camps as a counselor. Nicole has grown into a lovely woman. I'm so proud of her academic endivers. I had the privilege to see many, many (if I missed any it had to be a great disaster for me to miss) of their school functions and would not trade the world for these experiences. Mammaw loved every minute of the hard bleachers, hot hot days, rainy weather and the mosquitos and lawn chairs..ha ha. I thank Rhonda from the bottom of my heart for all she has done for me and all the love she has given to me even when I was being difficult (anyone who knows me knows I can be that at times, oh alright most of the time). Then Shelly Sue and Kelly Kay our beautiful identical twins, their time here to short. God knows what's best. He needed them back to brighten the heavens. I miss them to this very day..but today I will see them again, along with my other loved ones... Then God gave me a wonderful blessing by sending Kevin to me (well I have to give his Dad some credit) ha ha. Kevin was the angel that I needed to help change me (with the help of the Lord). He's the one that got me into church. After watching his sister go to church with friends, he said to me one Sunday, Mommy I want to go to church. Well what could I say to that. Thanks so much Kevin for letting God work through you (I really believe with all my heart he was touched by the Lord that day to be his instrument to bring me to Him). The greatest thing anyone can do for someone is to let their self be used for the good of others, thanks son. He has helped me in so many ways. He was a wonderful baby and grew into a great kid. He never gave me reason to worry about him. Michael Kevin grew into a responsible, God fearing young man. I am so proud of his accomplishments. The most I guess is the great family man and father he became. I wish I could have done so much more for him, for he has done his share of being a great son and giving to me. I appreciate all that he has given me over the years. I loved Kevin as a baby, young child and more for the man he became. And the fact that he is with his family in the house of the Lord every Sunday, when he isn't working, is the greatest gift children can give their parents. I loved you more than you'll ever know Kevin..and of course his giving me two wonderful grandsons didn't hurt his case either. Jace is such a handsome, smart and loving young man who is so talented in dance, I hope he continues and from what I hear he tries just about everything out that comes along. Zach is a handsome and rambunctious young man you'll ever meet. They have most extraordinary memories for such little guys..Wish they lived a little closer, but you gotta go where the money is. Bradley and Nicole has blessed me with choosing a beautiful young lady, Kaylee, and handsome young man Robby, that has brought joy to our family, so I gained another granddaughter and grandson. Then I became a great Mammaw to Parker David and Kynslee Lynn. I have been truly blessed to be a Great Mammaw. I love them so...God is so Good! I thank God for all the friends that have blessed my life when I needed them most and at the right time I needed them..and you all know who u (oops Yoville coming out in me) lol oh again!!!! Thank you all from the depths of my soul and heart. Meet me in Heaven!!!!!!!!!ok. If your gone already, I'll see you soon..
