September 22, 1970 - June 5, 2017

Dateline: George West, Texas Joseph Monard "Red Dog" McGee, age 46, passed away on Monday June 5, 2017 following a sudden illness. He was born to Jimmie P. and Bette (Wolfe) McGee on September 22, 1970 in Beeville, Texas. He was the Asset Manager for Offshore Energy Services located in George West. He served our country in the US Army, serving in Desert Storm from 1989-1992. He was a member of the Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets MC Club and enjoyed riding his bike with his brothers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Ruth Wolfe and Monard and Alma McGee. Survivors include: Wife: Michelle McGee of George West. 2 Daughters: Katie (Cody) Marshall of Moscow Idaho. Sarah McGee and Rob Rodriguez of George West Parents: Jimmie and Bette McGee of George West. Sister: Tracey (Randy) Arnott of Boerne. Niece: Crystal (A.J.) Bondanza and their children Aiden and Colton all of Boerne. Niece: Courtney Arnott of Boerne. Brother: Kenney (Michele) McGee of Mathis. Niece Ashley (Dustin) Witcher of San Antonio. He was blessed with 2 grandsons Wylie and Tommy Marshall of Moscow Idaho and 1 granddaughter Ali Rodriguez of George West, who love and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 3 PM at the First United Methodist Church in George West. Burial will be Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10 AM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi. Pallbearers will be Dean Jamous, Randy Arnott, Kenney McGee, Dustin Witcher, Rob Rodriguez and Stephen Kimmel. Honorary Pallbearers are the Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets MC Brothers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church in George West. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers. robersonfuneralhomes.net
