Dateline: Alice, Tx. Joe L. Garcia age 68 Passed away on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Joe was born to Crescencio and Teresa (Villega) Garcia in Merced, California on Aug. 25, 1952. Joe worked for Heldt Brothers Trucking for over 29 years and then worked for 12 years with Texas Hotshot Service. Joe was preceded in death by his parents,2 brothers: Alfonso Garcia, Willie Cortez, a sister: Ginnie Rios and 2 grandsons: Sergio A. Salinas, Starlin Garcia, a great-grandson: Jayce Rodriguez Survivors: Wife: Maria Teresa Rios Garcia of Alice, Texas 6 Children: Tina Monique (Javier Aguirre) Garcia Joe L. (Ruby) Garcia Jr. Angel C (Yvette Vela) Garcia Michael A (Ashley) Garcia Eric L. Garcia Serena Garcia grandchildren: Ernest Salinas III, Jessica L. Salinas, Jesus A. Salinas, Joey Trejo, Christian Trejo, Courtney Trejo, Matthew Garcia, Angelica Benavidez, Ashley Carrillo, Angela Garcia, Allison Carrillo, AJ Garcia, Amber Carrillo, Anissa Garcia, Aeydalyna Garcia, Jayla Garcia, Makayla Garcia, Layla Garcia, Zayla Garcia, Emberlyn Garcia, Eric Garcia Jr., Terik Garcia, Tevin Garcia, Taylor Molina Jr., Tai Molina. 8 Great-Grandchildren brother: Johnny Garcia 2 sisters: Carmen Garcia, Rosa Garcia Visitation will begin on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 5 to 9PM with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 8PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Texas. Mass will be recited on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow in the Roberson Collins Memorial Cemetery.
