Dateline: George West, TX Dora Nieto Meza, age 86, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at a local nursing home in George West following an extended illness. She was born to Jose and Aurora (Zuniga) Nieto on April 11, 1934 in George West. She was a homemaker and raised her children She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Fortunato Meza. Survivors include her children: Santos (Rosa) Nieto of Beaumont: Manuel Gonzalez of George West; Henry (Vanessa) Nieto also of George West; Anastacio Meza of Mexico; Alberto (Olga) Meza of Shiner; Jose Manuel (Teresa) Meza of Dallas; Socorro (Manuel) Gonzales also of Dallas; Alberta Gonzales of Gonzales; Angela (Matilde) Perez of Mexico and Estela (Robert) Munoz of George West. 1 sister Emma Juarez of George West. Her sibling-in-laws Jasinto; Francisca; Amelia; Severa and Ester Meza all of Mexico. She was blessed with 34 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who love and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 1-8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers. Funeral Service will be Friday July 24, 2020 at 10 AM at the Worship Center in George West with Tony Castillo officiating the service. Burial will follow at the George West Cemetery. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
