Brian Daniel Robbins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dateline: Sandia, Texas Brian Robbins, 56, of Sandia, TX passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 in his home. Brian was born March, 19, 1965 to Paul Robbins and Sandra (Rix) Robbins in Davenport, IA where he grew up. After graduating West High School, Brian spent 3 years in the Marine Corps; serving at Camp Lejeune, NC and Okinawa, Japan. After his service, he returned to Davenport until his family moved to Wheatland, IA in 1994. He moved to Texas in 2010. Brian worked for Alcoa for 19 years before returning to Civil Service with the DOD at the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois. He was a machinist at the Corpus Christi Army Depot from 2010 – 2022. Brian was never one to just sit. You could always find him outside on his property building, working, improving, and dappling in farming. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, fishing and hunting. He was active in the Wheatland American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, traveling, a good game of euchre, dancing, and laughing with friends and family. Brian is survived by his daughters Jessica (Zachary) Jones, Emily Robbins; grandsons, Beau and Carter Jones, Lucas Robbins; brothers, Rob (Vinetta) Robbins, Brad Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 28 for those who would like to pay their respects for his life at the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Texas beginning at 1PM to 4PM.
