Bernardo was born to Bernardo and Esmeralda (Gonzalez) Mendoza Sr. in Alice, Tx. on May 17, 1967. He was a Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Horacio Mendoza and Emilia Rivera, and his Maternal grandparents: Tito Gonzalez Sr. and Aurora Gonzalez. Survivors: Mother: Esmeralda Rivera of Corpus Christi, Tx. Father: Bernardo (JoAnn) Mendoza Sr. of San Diego, Tx. Sister: Merlinda (Scott) Benefield of Canton, Ga. Brother: Javier (Lisa) Mendoza of Alice, Tx. 3 sons: Michael Craig Shipp of Houston, Tx. Nicholas “Nico” Mendoza of Alice, Tx. David Mathew Rangel of Corpus Christi, Tx. Daughter: Angelica Mendoza of Kingsville, Tx. His best Friend: Belinda Perez of Zapata, Tx Step brother: Ruben Perez of Corpus Christi, Tx. Step Sisters: Felica Gonzalez of San Diego, Tx. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10AM at the Stonegate Baptist Church with Bro. Shorty Benavides officiating.
