December 3, 1986 - July 2, 2021

Dateline: Alice, Tx. Anthony Ray Chapa entered eternal rest on July 2, 2021 at the age of 34. He was born December 3rd, 1986 in Alice, Tx to Hector and Maggie Chapa. Anthony was known for his sense of humor, making people laugh, and his courageous smile. He was often described as a very hard worker. Anthony's hobbies include listening to music, working out, and most of all spending time with his beloved children and family. Anthony will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Lorenzo Hernandez Sr., paternal great grandparents Frank and Lina Aguilar, niece and nephew Keith and Kaylynn Garcia. Anthony is survived by his parents Hector and Maggie Chapa of Alice, Tx. Maternal grandmother Maria Louisa Hernandez of Alice, Tx. Paternal grandparents Hector (Diana) Chapa Sr. of Alice, Tx. and Dalia (Arthur) Richardson of Newaygo, Michigan. Two sisters Eisa Chapa (Michelle Gomez) of Alice, Tx. Erika (Silver) Sendejo of San Antonio, Tx. Three daughters Destiny Chapa of Alice, Tx. Alivaeh Chapa of Alice, Tx. and Alex Chapa of Alice, Tx. One son Mikah Chapa of Alice, Tx. Anthony is also survived by the mothers of his children Holly Coronado and Sonja Salinas. Other survivors include one nephew, two nieces, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Anthony's behalf by gathering Friday, July 9, 2021 located at the "Open Door Community Church" 1200 Seabreeze St. in Alice, Tx. from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home Alice.
