Dateline: Guthrie, Oklahoma Teresa Aguirre age 91 Died peacefully on March 25, 2025. She Was born on October 15, 1933 to parents, Guillermo Ramirez and Teresa Rios. She Married Salvador M. Aguirre on June 28, 1953 and celebrated 68 years of marriage in 2021. Though Teresa loved being a homemaker, cooking, gardening and quilting, her favorite role was that as a grandparent. She treasured her time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and loved being their grandma. A Seminole, TX resident for over 40 years, Teresa worked side by side with her husband running their business Aguirre Produce for over 32 years until Salvador's retirement in 2016 and moved to Cedar Park, TX. In 2018, they moved to Georgetown, TX. After her husband's death in 2022, Teresa settled in Guthrie, OK. She was an active member of St. James Catholic Church, Seminole, TX. and member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Cedar Park, TX., St. Helen's Catholic Church, Georgetown, TX, St. Mary Catholic Church, Guthrie, TX. and Trinity Episcopal Church, Guthrie, OK. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Her husband: Salvador M. Aguirre, brothers: Carlos Ramirez, Flavio Ramirez, Ismael Ramirez, sisters: Lorenza Ceballos, Herminia Ramirez, and Elidia Acevedo. She is survived her sons: Arthur Aguirre of Guthrie, OK., and Salvador (Jasmine) Aguirre, Jr of Amarillo, TX., daughters: Maria Teresa Rios of Guthrie, OK., Corina Avila of Big Spring, TX., Cindy (Rudy) Cruz of Georgetown, TX. 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren. brothers: Willie Ramirez of Riverview, FL., Roberto Ramirez of Wilkesboro, NC and sister: Elida Hernandez of Banquete, TX. Teresa will always be remembered as a special daughter, sister, friend, sister-in-law, mother and grandma. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her. Visitation will begin on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 5PM until 8PM with a Holy Rosary recited that same evening at 7PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers, TX. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pawnee, TX beginning at 10:30AM. Burial will follow in the Nell Cemetery Pallbearers: Michael Aguirre, Brian Cruz, Victor Bustamante, Had Darling, Jacob Cruz, Augustine Aguirre.
