Mary Ann McMullin

Dateline: Three Rives, Texas Mary Ann McMullin age 80 Passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Corpus Christi surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Three Rivers to Vestal and Mary B. (Goynes) Odom on Aug. 15, 1944. Mary lived her earlier years in Three Rivers, then moved to Corpus Christi where she graduated from Ray High School. She retired from the Naval Air Station in 2013 after 30+ years where she had worked in medical records, duplication services, and at the commissary. Mary had previously worked at Moody's Meat Market, Winns, and Pizza Cove in Corpus Christi. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Ross Thomas McMullin, four brothers: Valter Odom, Loyd "LD" Odom, Kenneth (Rita) Odom, Byron (Judy) Odom, sister: Vesta Odom (Larry) Wostal, and her brother-in-law Mike Strickland [husband of Margaret]. Mary is survived by: 2 sons: Ross (Kathy) McMullin and Martin (Randi) McMullin. 4 daughters: Candace McMullin (“Fig”) Figueroa, Mary McMullin (Peter) Trombley, Theresa McMullin (Layne) Fechner, and Margaret McMullin Stone. 3 brothers: Rocky (Myrna) Odom, Thomas (Linda) Odom, and Carie Odom. 2 sisters: Margaret Odom Strickland and Theresa Odom (John) Hamilton Sister-in-law: Maxine [wife of LD (d)] Odom Grandchildren: Shelby McMullin Nadler, Patrick McMullin, Charlie Maresh III, Sarah Maresh Gross, Tyler Maresh, Raymond Figueroa III, Athena Figueroa Cromwell, Jessica Figueroa, John Trombley, Katherine Trombley Cook, Amanda Matthaei Price, William Matthaei VI, Brittany Fechner, Rebecca Fechner Russell, Aaron Fechner, Adam Fechner, Amanda Fechner, Dustin Dockens, Jacob Stone, Kammie Stone, Zachary McMullin, Savannah Paige McMullin, and Emmalee McMullin. Mary married the love of her life Ross Thomas McMullin in 1964. They were married for almost 50 years before his death in 2012. Mary immensely loved her extended McMullin, Odom, and Goynes families, especially her 6 children and her many grand and great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 12, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM at the St. George Catholic Church in George West. Burial will follow in the Three Rivers Cemetery, Three Rivers. Pallbearers: Patrick McMullin, Charlie Maresh III, Tyler Maresh, Raymond Figueroa III, John Trombley, William Matthaei VI, Dustin Dockens, and Zachary McMullin.
