Dateline: Corpus Christi, Texas Celebrating the Life of Joseph Cibrian October 28, 1961 - August 17, 2024 Joseph "Joe Joe or Papa Joe" Cibrian, a lover of God, people, and life, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2024. Born October 28, 1061 to Tony M. and Diamantina Cibrian, Joseph was the REAL DEAL. The absolute definition of a great man! Joseph was a graduate of Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and was always proud to declare, , "Once a Buc, always a Buc!". He was a mechanic by trade working for Frank's International for 26 years before moving on to work for The Louise Allen Foundation, a place that he truly loved. Joe spent most of his life loving and helping others. There wasn't anything that he couldn't fix. He was a humble man and a true servant that would give you the shirt off of his back. You could call on him day or night and he would be there to help. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and was always trying to sneak off and wet the line when and wherever he could. Joseph enjoyed having friends and family over for fish fry's and fireworks! The forgiveness of God was most important to Joe. He truly appreciated what that meant to him as a believer and wanted others to forgive and have a relationship with Christ. He dearly loved his savior, his wife, step kids, grandkids, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Tony M. and Diamantina Cibrian and siblings Romana Cibrian, Amanda Chavarria, and Tony Cibrian Jr. He is survived by his wife Lisa, stepchildren James Emmert (Shawn), Joshua Emmert (Corina), Rachel Koegel (Michael), and sister Irma Cibrian. He was Papa Joe to Braydon, Decklyn, Charlotte, Levi, and Morgan. He also had cousins, nieces, and nephews that he adored. Joseph was a husband, step father, "Papa Joe", son, brother, cousin, uncle, son in law, brother-in-law, friend, neighbor, employee, and fellow believer that will be truly missed. As we all remember Joseph John Cibrian, let's celebrate a life that was filled with a strong belief in God and an enormous love of people.
