Dateline: Alice, Tx David Carlos Moreida Jr., 51 years of age, entered the stairway to heaven on September 21, 2021 with his family by his side. David worked at Adcock Pipe & Supply for over 20 years. David enjoyed his time outdoors listening to music and making art. He started his art from a twig that came from a tree that he used to sit under in his backyard. From making crosses of all sizes to drawings on plaques of wood to picture frames, mirror frames, dressers, tables, benches, even swings. He even created images on bone that he would get from deer antlers and would make them pendants for necklaces. David always had hard working hands and such a creative mind. He was the most amazing father, grandpa, husband, brother, son, nephew, and friend. This man had a heart of gold. He would always help anyone in need without hesitation. He would give anyone the shirt off his back if he needed to. David will forever be missed and loved by so many and we will carry him forever in our hearts. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Salvador and Maria L. Rios, his paternal grandpa David Cordova Moreida, his father David Carlos Moreida Jr., his sister Diana Leigh Moreida, and his aunt Magda Ester Moreida. Survivors: Wife of 30 years: Rose Moreida 3 Children: Devina (Federico) Garcia, David Carlos Moreida III, Angela Marie Moreida 4 Grandchildren which are his pride and joy: Ruben Jeremiah Rodriguez, Federico Garcia, Damien Orion Garcia, and Nova Divine Garcia Mother: Eva Moreida (Guadalupe Garces) 4 Sisters: Maria (Joseph) Zapata, Rosario (Angel) Watrin, Denise Benavides, Amanda (Jimmy) Joslin 1 Brother: Jose (Montserrat) Losoya Paternal Grandmother: Guadalupe Rea Moreida Uncle/Brother: Felix (Janie) Moreida and Salvador (Tweety) Rios And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 from 5PM to 9PM with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Texas. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021 at 10AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice, Texas Burial will follow in the Roberson-Collins Cemetery. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home Alice.
