Dateline: Alice, Texas Belinda Garza, age 62, was called to Heaven on Monday May 3, 2021 in a Corpus Christi hospital following an extended illness. Belinda was born on February 21, 1959 in Alice, Texas to her father Jesus "Chuy" Maria Garcia and mother Berta Araujo Garcia. She was a kind-hearted, lively soul who loved speaking her mind, enjoying life's treasures, having meaningful conversations, and making people laugh. She considered her two children Jessica Jayla Garza and Amando "Ajay" Garza III to be the loves of her life. She loved God and her family above everything else. She was a devoted woman of faith, an appointed deacon of the Catholic Church and past leader of the Saint Joseph Prayer Group. Her grace, beauty and glamour went unmatched by many. Her kindness, words of wisdom, advice about life and love, and everything in between caused everyone to adore her. She was loved and cherished by everyone who was lucky enough to call her family or a friend. She was truly an unforgettable and intelligent woman who left a lasting impression on everyone who came in contact with her. Forever the loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family. Belinda is preceded in death by her mother Berta Araujo Garcia. Survivors: Children: Jessica Jayla Garza and Amando "Ajay" Garza III both of Alice, Texas Father: Jesus "Chuy" Maria Garcia of Alice, Texas Aunt: Adelina Torres of Alice, Texas 3 sisters: Sylvia Garcia, Zulema Garcia Maldonado and Rosie Segura all of Alice, Texas 1 brother: Jesus Roland Garcia of Alice, Texas She was blessed to have been a second mother to her great-niece Avery Rodriguez, her nephew and Godson Calob Jay Rodriguez and her nephew Thomas Zachary Nunez. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and four great-nephews and one great-niece. Visitation will be Thursday May 13, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be held Thursday May 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral mass to follow immediately. Burial will be Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Roberson-Collins Memorial Cemetery.
