    Charles E. Roberson Owner- Funeral Director/Embalmer

    Born in Three Rivers, Tx. on May 16, 1936 to Gus and Pauline Roberson. I am a 1956 Graduate of the Three Rivers High School and a 1957 Graduate of Common Wealth college of Mortuary Sciences. I Married Barbara Ann (Stendebach) Roberson in 1957. I worked for another funeral home in Alice, Tx. for 17 years before my wife and I opened our own funeral home in 1973. We have three children Larry Roberson whom died in 1965. Sherri (Roberson) Morgan whom is married to Donnie, Steven whom is married to Lisa (Durdin) Roberson is involved in the Family Business. We opened our second Funeral Home on Aug. 18, 1996 in Three Rivers, Texas. i am a Deacon at the West Main Baptist Church in Alice, Tx. and a Ordained Minister.

    Born to Charles and Barbara (Stendebach) Roberson on Dec. 6, 1966 in Alice, Texas. I am a 1985 Graduate of the Alice High School and a 1986 Graduate of the Commonwealth College of Mortuary Sciences in Houston, Tx. . I am married to Lisa (Durdin) Roberson and we have 4 Children, Ashley, Colton, Rechea, Zachary. I am a Certified Peace Officer since 1989, a Certified Paramedic and currently serve as Board President for the Ben Bolt Volunteer Fire Dept. We also own and operate the Roberson-Collins Memorial Cemetery.

    I was born to Felix "June" and Adeline (Buetow) Robinson in Three Rivers, Texas in 1958. I moved to the Rio Grande Valley with my family. In 1976 I married Charlie Vanek Jr. from Three Rivers, and moved back to Three Rivers. We raised our two children, Charlie Todd Vanek III and Jessica Leanne Vanel in Three Rivers. We are blessed with 4 grandchildren. I went to work in the family business at Roberson Funeral Home in 2001. I came in to help answer the phones and do paperwork. Urged on by Mr. Roberson (my Cousin) I attended SAC Mortuary Science and completed my studies at Amarillo College to become a funeral director in 2008. I am proud to be part of the Roberson Family Funeral Home. We all work closely together to assure our best in serving our families at the time of need. Our service is personal, caring, and we pride ourselves in knowing that we, The Roberson Family serve the people we all grew up with. We are the ONLY family owned and operated funeral home in Live Oak County.

    Born Aug. 7, 1992 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Steven & Lisa Roberson. I am a 2010 Graduate of the Ben Bolt High School. I work for the family business and attend Rosaries and go on Funeral Services as needed.

    Born June 1, 1988 to Lisa and Steven Roberson. Married to Richie Garcia for 15 years with 4 beautiful children Aiden, Evan, Addison, and Ellison. She attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service (the same college her father attended) obtaining her degree in Mortuary Science on December 20, 2019 and completed her internship as a funeral director and embalmer in April of 2020. She is working in the family business as a fully licensed funeral director, embalmer, and pre-need specialist. Ashley is a third generation funeral director/embalmer proudly serving along side her father and grandfather. She is also a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She is a great asset to the company and she will be glad to assist you with anything you need.
